Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use 314DAO for commercial projects?
Yes. Everything you generate with these tools belongs to you, and we place no restriction on commercial use of your own output.
Will there be a mobile app?
Not planned for V1. Our tools work well on mobile browsers already (responsive design). A native app could come later if there's strong demand.
Can I contribute a new tool?
We'd like that, but there is no public repository yet, so there is nowhere to send a pull request today. Email hello@314dao.com with your idea and we'll tell you where things stand.
Is there an API?
No. The tools are designed for interactive web use only, and there is no API or hosted endpoint. Each tool documents the formula it uses, so you can reimplement the algorithm yourself.
How do you fund this?
Currently self-funded. No VC, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Static hosting costs very little. If that ever changes, we'll explore sustainable options—but never at the cost of user privacy or core functionality becoming paywalled.
